Meg’n

Meg'nI have been working with people in a therapeutic capacity since 1996.  I earned a Master’s degree from Naropa University in 2005, and I have been a licensed therapist since 2007.   I enjoy getting to know my  clients.  I collaborate with people or organizations to remove obstacles, in order for them to reach their goals, and help facilitate the change that they need to build lives that are more empowering, happier, and more fulfilling.

In 2012, I incorporated coaching into my practice.  We (my clients and I) have found that coaching is very helpful and transforming for them.  It helps clarify personal goals in order to actively reach success. I specialize in coaching women with major life changes, career changes, and professional development goals.  I love teaming up with people that are developing more rewarding  personal and  professional relationships.

I also teach dating classes.  If you are out in the dating world and want help honing your dating skills, I may be the coach for you!

My best skills are my sense of humor, my ability to listen, my honesty and directness;  I also possess a strong desire and enthusiasm to share risks with you.  I am with you all the way to the end, so that we can celebrate your accomplishments together!

As a therapist, I work with all types of issues such as  ADHD, anxiety, blended family struggles, mood disorders, PTSD, grief and loss and unresolved  trauma.  I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

During my free time I read, love thrift stores,  going  hiking, snowshoeing, and spending time with loved ones.  I also enjoy swimming and go to the gym for my health and fitness.  I am an animal lover.

“You help managers from the inside out. In other words, you have helped me see my strengths and how to put words into action. Sometimes in work, we run across challenges that require us to dig deep and take a leap of faith in our abilities. You helped inspire me to action. You helped me jump in and use my strengths for the betterment of the organization. You take the time to really know the person you are coaching.  Therefore, you are better able to nudge the person in the right direction. I know I am a better leader from knowing you. You pushed me to be even better…stronger.”
